First Day of Hajj!

Hajj: First day of Hajj is 8th zil-hijjah . After wearing Ihram , hajjajs(pilgrims) go towards mina and pray shortened (Qasr)zuhur, asar , maghrib and Isha prayers at their specific time  . Mina is  called tent city and it is roughly 8 km from Makkah.Night will be spent in mina.Pilgrims are required to remain in Mina until the sunrise of the second day of Hajj.

Me: I have never been to these holy places of Makkah and my excitement is at its peak as we are moving ahead in time towards September 2016. The goal is to learn little bit about Hajj and its philosophy every day. Insh a Allah. Aameen.
